Title: Requiem in Rebellion Hardback?
Post by: paulvonscott on 04 April, 2006, 04:58:56 AM
I appreciate the Rebellion printing schedule must be chocka, but these French Vampire stories written by Pat Mills are sumptious (albeit deleriously bonkers) books.

I just wanted to suggest perhaps collecting say three of the first books of this long running saga in one rebellion hardback.

I currently have to resort to buying heavy mental magazine to read them.  Book 4 is in the latest one apprently and I think Mill s said there were 6 or 7 requiem books so far (this was last year) and he was doing spin offs as well.

I appreciate it doesn't have the 2000AD connection of Button Man, but just a thought.

Cheers

Paul

Another quality idea from the House of Scott. I'd buy them as would, I suspect, a lot of readers. The chance for what is essentially new (to us) Pat Mills material is one that I'd find very hard to resist.

I'd third that.

I think there was a 'Claudia' spin-off as well.

Great art, utterly bonkers story.

I was going to ask if these are available in an English print, but my question has already been answered.

Wait, there are things worth reading in Heavy Metal?

Tell me more. Particularly about this Pat Mills series and what issues it appears in.

"How is it possible to get MORE gothy? Tommy Harris moping in the background?"

The babe isnt smiling.

Requiem is a bonkers afterlife tale of vampires, Nazis and weirdness that has so far appeared in the following Heavy Metals:

MArch 2003
MArch 2004
Jan 2005 (though if you find this one, send it to me, as I somehow missed it!)
and now May 2006

It originated in France, and there are french hardbacks available for the more cultured - us savages have to rough it in the dark end of the street with these Heavy Metal reprints...

Everytime I buy it I always say a feeble 'I'm only buying it for the Pat Mills strips...'
