Any one know any decent jobs websites, I'm having an absolutely crap day at work, my collegues and bosses are being even bigger muppets than usual and I feel the need to get out of here.
Unfortunately the CVs looking a bit tired, and the out time is rather long. Been mainly doing SQL and Delphi development for the last 5 years. Some IT support and Project Management.
Help

;)
Well, I've been signed up to Monster for about 5 months now, and I've yet to see anything come from it, plenty of Agency interviews but not one single firm Job offer.
That's probably just me though, I'm shit My CV is shit, my future career prospects are non-existant, I really need to work on playing up my strengths (I'll make all the other loosers who work for you look amazing!), or I'm doomed to the Temp life for the foreseeable future, like The Littlest Hobo in a Shirt and Tie (Trousers and Shoes optional?...)
Job websites are bollocks for London (though s1jobs in Scotland has been great), get yerself down a recruitment agency.
dankell,
I work with delphi, your stuck, like me, with a skill that is not in demand.
London pays more than other places but the cost of living is higher so cancels it out totally.
I think a delphi job is going in Bourne End,Bucks, send me your hotmail if your interested.
Dreddd
then again, just go to jobserve and search on keyword DELPHI
Cheers
From what I've looked at I should be able to retrain from Delphi to something like PHP/C++ fairly easily - I picked the Delphi up fairly rapidly. It's just finding an environment thats willing to pay for me to take that time - and how to convince them that I could do the retrain!
Bugger
dankell,
Know what you mean, everyone wants someone ready to start tomorrow, try Java, is HIGHLY in demand and easier than C++
You could try Reed. I've had more interviews from them than anyone else, and they got me the job I'm in now.
Link: Reed Employment
I second Noisybast,Reed are excellent.
might take tomorrow off to write the CV and take some distance...
Thanks for the advice...
Any money in funny books?
