Hewlett won for creating the Gorillaz website, animations, "live" performances and "personal mythology".
Now, don't get me wrong, but didn't other people create the website, animations and 'live perfromances'.
Our very own Rufus animated on the Gorillaz first videos and it is through his talent (and others) that Hewlett has picked up this award.
Well done to Jamie, but credit where credit is due.
Yeah, but surely it's his desgins that have been translated into other media. It's a design award, not a do all the hard boring graft award.

Pete Candeland at Passion Pictures directed those Gorillaz videos, i was one of many pencil monkeys.
Jamie is a brilliant designer, and it's great to see comic art recognised as good design.
Congratulations to Jamie, he's worked very hard.
