Title: Rants Revisited
Post by: Banners on 01 June, 2006, 05:45:50 PM
Well I haven't had a rant for a while but this one combines several in one, so here goes...

A company who I have had many dealings with over the last couple of years, both professionally and privately, to the tune of several hundred pounds, postponed my latest order because they needed proof of ID.

I then sent a scan of a recent invoice from themselves, which was refused because they only accept official documents such as utility bills.

When the scanned bill I then sent wasn't acknowledged I called up. Giving only my name, we went through various points of my account in some detail. So, how come they need confirmation to accept the order but just accept my word when I phone up to complain?

ARGH!

What's their name?  What's your company's name?

If I pretend to complain, will they really give me your bank details?
