I'm hooked on David Bishop's blog, and it's thanks to a recent post that I've been exposed to what is possibly the strangest dub I've ever heard.
Without further ado, and with a rather bemused thanks to David for linking to it in the first place, here are Tennant & Piper...
Link: Ummm...
struth!
I love the way Rose can make about seventeen sylables with one mouth movement
It is very strangely dubbed, and for comedy purposes too. I'm not Welsh, nor am I a Welsh-speaker, so I can't say for sure, but I think the accents fluctuated somewhat. Billie Piper was dubbed in Welsh with an accent that may have been posh and English at some moments and Irish at others, and David Tenant's Welsh accent sounded very rustic, and may have been West Country or Gloucestershire.
That Welsh boy interviewing them looked a bit like MC Cicko, I thought. The redhead was teh kewt, I thought...
(Dicko, not Cicko...)
