Lets all move into Daney's backyard.

(interesting that Iceland is near the top and yet I read it had a lot of depression due to the months of darkness.. perhaps they're number 1 in the manic depressive league).
You're all more than welcome (we've just put the tent away), as long as you promise to fuck off again ;-)
Might be happy, but they don't have a sense of humour!
I've spend the last 2 days putting new windows into my house- yesterday it was so sweltering, it was almost impossible, today it's been thundering most of the day- so the weather's shite!
And they don't have ANY decent comics!
... but I do have BBC, ITV and FILM4 now ;-)
oops sorry about not linking it.
Sounds cool to me Dane.
Are you ready for the whole message board to camp in the garden at once?
At least we know we mustn't "outstay our welcome" as it were.
How does the all bacon and hardcore pornography diet agree with you?
Do you know that what we call Danish bacon in UK, they call English bacon over here.
As for the porn, well there's plenty here for those that need it! ;-)
I'm just packing now mate.
Well Denmark's all very well but Norway's where it's at, really.* Actually anywhere except Sweden - bloody Swedes ;-)
* even though Oslo is the top spot expensive city these days
I've got a friend who's been living and working in northern Norway for more than a year. I'm given to understand that with the lack of light in the winter it's a bit like living in a dark cupboard and she cries almost daily.
I'd chose Denmark myself. Norway for the occasional summer break.
Ah well, granted, yer *northern* Norway can be a bit on the dark side in the winter, but the *south* - now there's a Tropical Paradise and no mistake*. Having survived two Canadian winters and spent enough time in the Arctic to make things shrink to the point you think they'll never come back, the winters in most of Norway really don't seem that bad.
Where in the north, by the way? I'm off to Trondheim on Monday, and Troms? a few days after that.
* at least, while we still have the Gulf Stream.
without that stream.. t'would be bloody frozen here in Cornwall too.
"I'm given to understand that with the lack of light in the winter it's a bit like living in a dark cupboard"
Hmmm... I like the sound of Norway.
Nice one.
Sounds like the perfect home for a vampire too.
Pauls a vampire?
A Vampire Librarian?
A Small Press Gentleman Vampire Librarian?
A Raj Quartet Writing Small Press Gentleman Vampire Librarian?
A Synthesiser Voiced Raj Quartet Writing Small Press Gentleman Vampire Librarian?
Well I never.
"Where in the north, by the way?"
- She'd be in Troms?...
You've got it David!!
I'm just sorry to have had to expose him in this way.
I'm just a bit tired of having to pile on the garlic every time in come in here.
