Title: Name that film
Post by: I, Cosh on 17 October, 2006, 12:54:25 PM
The picture contains clues to the titles of fifty horror films. I reckon some of you guys will be able to name them all in no time flat.

I've still only got 26 out of 50.

Does Rear Window count as a horror movie?  Might be an idea to widen your scope a bit to include classic thrillers if you're stuck...

Aye, sorry about the poor instructions. I'm up to thirty so far and the most groan-inducing clue by far is T** S**** S****.

Pah - Rear Window?  Why didn't they just use 'Peeping Tom'?  Still, will retire with a decent 40.  If anyone gets the lot, stick up a list (with a SPOILER space just in case).  I tried and failed utterly to find Teenwolf in there - it's a fix! ;-)

I now have 38, but I'm sure there's a couple of obvious ones that I'm not getting. What the heck's the one for the dogs/wolves? I've tried everything I can think of for that one.

Oi!  NO CLUES!

It's a good job I'd already got both of them or there'd have been serious mutterings going on...

grim reaper in the circle

Early Stephen King movie with a much later crappy TV series.

All right, I give up - I've still got to get:

The thing in the water in the bottom left hand corner,

The Nun with a barrel,

The Three blokes with the map,

The Dark Passage in the bottom right hand corner,

The transvestite M&M on the stairs,

The bloke with the telescope,

And another one I can't even find.

50 (Jesus, I really have got too much time on my hands!)

Admittedly, the last two or three came as a result of some copious online research (i.e. cheating!)

I'm open to bribes.

I'm on 40, not idea how you guys are doing, cos I'm avoiding spoilers.  Some of them are quite groansome when you work them out.

OOH! I like these games! It's just like that Virgin ad (or was it hmv?)
I haven't read the posts above me yet...

I'm now up to 37, with the help of the above posts. That's crap! What the foosh is that big knife in the middle all about?!

I was stuck on that on for ages tanky.  All I'll say is that it's very simple and just based around the word knife.  I spent ages typing in things like razorback to no avail.

Interesting diversion.

I gave up at 38. Got a heap of paper work to plough through :(

Easiest to guess; The Hills Have Eyes

Hardest to guess; Pitch Black

Rear Window was one of my first correct finds, but then that's because it came up in discussion at work the other day so it was at the forefront of my mind.

Anyone else thought a 2000 version, or even a scene from the Cursed Earth(?) for this site could be good..

Alien?!

Ha, I kept trying to input Casper The Friendly Ghost and permutations of and then Communion.

Would be quicker I think to just type out a list of 50 scary films then find them in the picture.
