Would you like to see another "Pit" style Dredd Epic in 2000ad?

I'm a bit of a fan of the larger supporting cast, and the more confined storytelling environment.
I also like it where shorter stories are contained within an overall epic tale.
What are your thoughts?
Could Dredd become Sector-chief again, or has that option run its course?
Is there another Dredd-world environment where such a storyline could be developed?

How about a whole story set entirely within the Grand Hall of justice?
Theres no reason a continuing story based in one area couldn't be a non-Dredd story.
We've got Lowlife and Dirty Frank and The Simping Detective covering the Lower Levels of MC1 so theres obviously scope for another area.
Dredd as Sector Chief no, but I would like more of a look into other areas of the Justice System.
We don't know a great deal about a lot of the city really, even now.
Why would anyone say no to this?
Grand Hall idea is aces, as could be the monotony of life on the East wall being in other ideas from a character aspect.
Personally I reckon Dredd should go on an extended Wally Squad secondment, but his character could be revealed to us a la Malone/Dead Man. This'll probably have to be in the Meg though, if only to thwart Dudley's forever questioning mind.
I've just finished reading Justice 1 and while it is shite, it throws open interesting possibilities story arc wise.
Didn't someone mention a run through of cadet training recently? Let's give Dredd a nasty injury for a while and send him to the academy for a different type of thriller.

Let's give him a hernia.
If it was to be as complex and riveting as The Pit, then it would be an unequivocal yes!
