Cheezus, how good does Tron still look?!
And the Moebius docu was great as well, especially Jodorowsky's frank comments.

It's a shame I'm in the wrong country to have caught this, Jodorowsky is always good for a laugh. I was awestruck at his plans for Dune, which ended up as the only-slightly-less-crazy Incal and Metabarons.

Missed the first 15 mins of this, no bloody advertising for it at all.

Missed the first 15 mins of this, no bloody advertising for it at all. What I saw was pretty good but they could have showed a lot more of his stuff instead of all the arty shots of buildings. I really think Giraud/Moebius is a genius. When you look at his range of styles, draftsmanship and sense of design it's incredible. Also the way he's influenced the look of Sci-fi on film so much.

Also missed the start of this. And unfortunately they don't appear to want to repeat it any time this week. Bah!

Don't worry - there'll be a repeat.

See what I did there...?

<sigh> Y'see, a Möbius strip strip is an infinite repeating loop. Kinda like BBC4, really.

"Superman makes me feel sick... I shit on The United States!"

F##kin' Jodorowsky always makes me smile. If I had a million dollars I'd force him to write a JLA script. No doubt it would involve Green Lantern and the Flash pulling a train on Batman while Wonder Woman castrates Superman. He's got the loopyness of ten Pat mills.

BBC seems hellbent on knocking out good comicbook documentaries. The Ditko and this one. Got to say I'm consumed by envy.

Möbius, (i'm pretty sure,) had a spot on the bbc4 Tintin/Herge doc?  I also think i may have a book by Möbius some where in my parents attic called spacewreck?

Spacewreck's ace and is the first SF book I ever owned (a present for Christmas '82). I've still got it and must get around to reading it again. Quite recently, I discovered it's part of a series, which I may consider tracking down.

Never seen that book before, but I had a very similar one called Starliners, I think it was. Are they part of a series? It was one of my favourite books when I was a kid.

Just googled Stewart Cowley there are 4 or 5 books in the series, how utterly brilliant. I'll be tracking those down!
