Title: Banned Issue Advice
Post by: badboy on 21 October, 2007, 10:19:59 PM
Really interested again in adding to my 2000ad collection and I was wondering what I would expect to pay for issues 71-72, 77-78 of 2000ad.  I know these are the rarest 2000ad's you can get but they come up now and again and I just wanna know what is reasonable.

I paid £25 for each pair (ie £12.50 each), mint. Dunno if that was too much or too little, but it's what I paid.

Also, I thought 1208 was the rarest prog. I may be wrong.

Judging by eBay, the going rate for these issues is anything from a tenner to £25 per issue, depending on quality. FWIW, I'll likely be selling off some copies of these issues in the not-too-distant.

1208 had a very low distribution - AKAIK it was something to do with a warehouse flooding.

I'm looking to off-load a bunch of duplicates too. I've got a run in the 100's and a large run from 307-391.
Email me if you're interested-that goes for anyone else too. :)
Dweezil.

Drop me an email and I'll remember to contact you once I sort the massive pile of spares I've suddenly acquired out. The way it's going, I'm going to have spares (of varying quality) of about 99 per cent of issues from Prog 5 through to the late 700s.
