You gotta be pulling one of my bipedal limbs...!

Good God! Cheaper to hunt down the back issues on EBAY. Be interesting to see if this sells for that price. There's obviously a demand for this title, but that's mighty steep!
One day whoever buys it will feel a bit daft when one day they can get it in a volume for a tenner.
Just to add to the deliciousness, that's the cheaper of the two on offer.
About a year ago they were averaging £70 on ebay and the other week a dog eared one, it looked in a bad way, went for £40. But £160 wow.
This is why I've scanned the complete into my PC. Including interlues. I can read this epic over and over again. It took me ages as my progs were in various boxed scattered about my attic and I virtually had to search through each box.

That actually reminds me of something I read on a forum shortly after McFarlane lost his case against Gaiman over Miracleman and the likelihood of the price of the comics and tpbs dropping to something more realistic had skyrocketed. Some bloke was royally kicking off about how DARE they sort things out, and that McFarlane should drag Gaiman back to court and fight things out to the bitter end, even if it took decades. When pressed, it appeared that his bitterness was solely due to the fact that he'd bought A Dream of Flying for about $500 the previous week. What a nob.
Don't mention the Hamlyn edition of Judgement Day to me...
(A moment of Ebay madness left me paying £60 for my copy. I hope I've learnt my lesson)
Also on Amazon the 'Best of 2000AD' Zenith book 1 is going for £60.00!!!!
Frack me!
Ive got books 1 to 4 of this set at home all signed by Grant and Steve themselves. What would that lot net me if I stuck it up on ebay!?!!?!?
Ker-chinnng!
Straight to e-bay mine go!
The best of's that is- my signed Titan book is MINE!
I laughed recently to see that the Absolute Watchmen volume, which I bought for the cover price of £50, was fetching variously between £500 and £700 via the Amazon private sellers!
I'd be tempted to sell it but I'd miss the book too much.
...and Amazon Us has Book Five down as $200! and I picked it up in a Moffat Oxfam Shop a month ago for one Scottish pound, I really should start ebay-ing
Smug-huff
I paid 50 dollars for a beat up copy of Sam & Max: Surfin' The Highway TP about five years ago. Now there's a new (more complete) edition coming out soon.
Yeah, it was still worth it.
The fuck? I like Zenith as much as the next guy, but why, how is it so expensive?
There are SO many things on Amazon Marketplace at ridiculous figures that have no relation to what anyone would ever pay for something, some people really are mental putting them up for such prices.
This isn't just comic related things but academic books as well, even if you consider in those cases it's just easier to borrow them from the British Library for £10 than spend hundreds on buying an out of press book.
Heh and there I am giving pretty much my entire zenith collection to Floyd for nothing lol
(i'm still putting the postage together Floyd...)
