That Endless Ocean game looks great... It's now on the christmas list for the boy.

Any other non violent gamesFor sure - coming up you've got Super Mario Galaxy, then Mercury Meltdown Revolution is another budget title, and if you go into the back catalogue there's WarioWare, Mario Party, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers, Zack & Wiki (after Xmas), Mario Olympics, Eledees, Dewy's Adventure, Monkey Ball etc..

But would anyone care to tell me in really simple pleb terms how to get online, as I'm a complete technophobe and I fancy giving the virtual console a spin.

Just got MArio Kart today. Intend playing it tonite.
You pretty much just need to connect it to your router if you have one. Or I think you can get a dongle for the USB to which it will connect wirelessly.
I've downloaded a few of the games from the VC and have been impressed with them all.
Super Paper Mario is the game that I'm playing with mini-WoD at the minute, and it is really good. Not had chance to play Kart yet and probably wont until Wednesday.

You don't need a dongle for wireless, though you will for connecting it direct to the router, I believe.

Will do tonight James. You need to go to the WTC section (or something like that). It's below the multi-player bit on the main screen.
I think you have to download the channel from the Wii shop or something, not done it myself so can't help...sorry!
I've got the channel on the wii but when I try to play online I get the error...
TBH I didn't try that hard to get it sorted so maybe a muck about with it tonight will get it sorted.

Has anyone tried the current competition on Mario Kart? I've managed a few sub 2 minutes (just)...but reckon I could get 1.96 or there abouts with practise (and a shed load of luck).
I just had a quick go and got an abysmal 2.07. I notice the current world record holder is at boggling 1.31.
I think I got 1.94...that's enough for me!

Odd thing. I just went onto the shopping channel, and a message came up telling me I could input my email address and password to Nintendos site to get added bonuses. BUT the text box for the email address isn't long enough for me to enter my full email address. Anyone else had this problem, or know a way around it?

This just made me realise how long it took to finish Super Paper Mario...great game though.
