Title: Siku's Manga Bible
Post by: ThryllSeekyr on 12 November, 2007, 02:14:00 AM
I was perusing a online book site for 2000AD and noticed the above ( Title of this thread.) book/s. Two versions

Raw and Extreme.

I take it that Extreme is better than Raw as it's a few dollars dearer.

Though really wanted to know what is the difference as I might be interested in sampling Siku's work.

Also a very deeply committed Christian, so this project could be really quite special.

I've spotted this in my local WHSmiths (New Testament) and also In FP in MAnchester (They have the full version there, backed up with what I assume is the full text of the King James Bible, I was only browsing...) The art is Pretty nice, all Black and white Linework in the Manga style.

I almost bought it myself, as a committed Agnostic I always have this nagging doubt that I should probably read the Bible first before condemning it.

Wow, that's weird, It wouldn't let me type anymore in that last message...

I was just saying how the only Bible I own (The one I was given at school.) now has an inverted Cross burned in the front, for fancy Dress Purpouses...
