Title: Marvel puts comics online
Post by: Marbles on 13 November, 2007, 03:38:56 PM
The beginning of the digital era, or another false dawn ?

For me they need to offer quality downloads. Subscription based web viewing is not the answer, they still haven't learnt from the music industry.

Nevertheless, a welcome step in the right direction.

I reckon the new age will come when affordable and good digital readers come in and you can download hundreds of comics onto your I-Comic.

Comics can then be cheap and disposable once more.

if you subscribe to Marvel's online bulletin thingy, you get a link to the digital comics and there are loads of them you can read online.  Providing you don't need to keep up with what happens next there are hours of free comics there

Just had a look at the Marvel site and its going through routine maintenance. Guess the online comic thing is a popular idea.
