Good news, everyone!
1000 copies of my brand-new short-story collection -
The New Heroes: Superhuman - have just arrived from the printer!
The book is now available for ordering from the official New Heroes website.
Please buy lots of copies; they make ideal Christmas presents for your loved ones.
Many thanks,
Mike
P.S. The image below is what 1000 copies of the book look like. Ah, self-publishing: the one thing everyone forgets to mention is how much bloody space the books take up!

It's funny how your mind plays tricks on you. At first glance, there doesn't seem to be anywhere near a thousand books there!
But notice that it's already in the shape of a rudimentary fort, as it should be.
Any chance of a dedication if I buy one for my niece?

Certainly! All copies will be signed and numbered: does your niece have a favourite number?
Cheers,
Mike
I'll have a couple of them!
Bump!
For those of you in Europe, Tuesday 18th is the last posting day if you want to receive your copies of
Superhuman before Christmas - so please order your copies ASAP!
Thanks,
Mike
Mike, you ARE bringing copies to Hi-Ex aren't you?

If there are any left by then, I certainly will!
Here, Mike, your shameless begging has really touched my flinty heart, despite the fact that I can see your shiny new trainers peeping out from under your misspelt sign.
I love a good short story collection over Christmas, because while I have more free time it always seems to be chopped into useless little bits between engagements and tasks, and your Art Comp piqued my interest in the New Heroes stuff. However, and be honest, is there any point me reading this collection before I've read any of the novels?
Hmm... Good question, Tordelback!
The stories in the collection can (I hope) be enjoyed without having read the novels, but they will mean more to those who have knowledge of the New Heroes' universe.
The solution, of course, is to buy all three of the novels and the collection. That's about 240,000 words of superpowered goodness, enough to keep even the fastest reader entertained for a good few hours. Or if not entertained, then at least out of trouble.
