Hi I need to sign onto another machine, but I can't remember my password and the 'send password' facility on the sign in page doesn't work. Could you send it to me please?

Just post your mother's maiden name, bank account no, sort code and the name of your first pet and the password will be sent to you by return mail.

Better yet, send examples of the passwords and PIN numbers you currently use, and we'll tailor a new password to your needs.

Maybe the board should be more like an ATM, and if you type the wrong password 3 times you're IP blocked for life.

Except ATMs don't ban you from money for life, do they? You just have to go to your bank and grovel.
