That first panel looks like something out of V for Vendetta.
Ohhhh!
Just spotted this!
This'll make you smile too. Project co-ordinator Jamar Miller has made himself a hardback edition of the colouring project using www.lulu.com (strictly not for resale, judges). I'm sore tempted to get one myself.

"has made himself a hardback edition of the colouring project"
Hmm... interesting. Despite having interviewed a certain Rian Hughes about Lulu.com recently, it never occurred to me to use the service myself, but that could be a neat way of getting a Zoids 'graphic novel'. Any idea how much it cost him, and how many pages it has?
I think it was around $70, but that includes japanese shipping, best to check out the site I expect.
Zoids, huh? Have you seen my other site?

I do want to just say that NO MONEY whatsover is being made off of these, Its not our attention to make anything at all , we just want to get these stories out to the fans!
"Zoids, huh? Have you seen my other site?"
Yup. In fact, we've 'met' before on Pheno's Zoids site - I recoloured some scans for you.
Looking at Lulu, I could easily enough get a complete Zoids 'trade' together for about 20 quid or so, although that'll mean a lot of scanning first! Still, I'm very tempted. (I do also have the scans from you site, but I suspect the resolution/quality will be a bit too low for a book.)
They shouldn't be, they're the same res. as the scans in Jamar's edition, both done on the same scanner and both resized to 1000 pixels width.
You're quite welcome to use them, but only if I gets a free copy! LMK before you do though because I'm planning on colouring the 12 Zoids Monthly pages.
"both done on the same scanner and both resized to 1000 pixels width"
1000 pixels wide on a British-sized volume results in a DPI of about 120, which is very low. (High-end print is usually about 300, and even crappy magazines output at 150.) Coupled with JPEG compression on the online stuff, and it would make more sense to run books from original scans that have more information. That said, I've no idea what restrictions Lulu places on content anyway. (Then again, if Rian Hughes is using Lulu, I suspect 300dpi is an option!)
Well, it's up to you, but I'd check the youtube link or ask Jamar how the other scans came out first. I admit I've not seen the print with my own eyes.
Oh, as we're off-topic, did you ever see the variant cover edition of the Zoids annual? I saw it once on ebay and it went for a mint - the cover seemed to be a recoloured issue 21.

I never saw it in the flash. Oddly enough, that cover's one of the ones I used for mock-ups of Zoids trades - see below. (My original idea, a few years ago, was to print the stuff myself, and convert the internal pages to greyscale to save on costs, but have colour covers.)
And I meant 'in the flesh', obv.
And a quick shot of a 'before' and 'after', having run a classic Zoids frame through the automated filter I built in Photoshop. At small sizes, it makes no odds, but when a lot larger, the colour moiré in the colour scans is pretty obvious, but this is gone with the greyscale. (Plus, I really love greyscale art anyway, and it gives the Zoids stuff a kind of uniformity!)
...whtat the address of the people that do this fantastic book binding, id love to do something similar with Dangermouse...
Lulu.com is the site most people are using.
