What collection are you talking of?
Is it the new ones that are £50 each. These are absolutly beautiful, but way too expensive for my pocket anyway.

There are three older ones that are worth looking out for and a lot cheaper. Hawke books did one in the style of their Dan Dare hardbacks. Hamlyn did one in the late 70's, paper quality not quite a good as it should but still makes good reading, and the last is an annual done in the early 70's.
I have managed to pick each of these up for under a tenner over the last while.

Wow that is a lovely book. Wish I still had mine (well actually I think it might have been my brothers?). I'm watching but almost certainly to see it go out of my range very quickly. That's assuming these still reach the prices they used to?

I love the Trigan Empire. I have the black and oversided Yellow books. I also have folders of pages I carefully cut out of Look and Learns (brought at a car boot for that purpose) but then hole punched like an r tard. I was hoping Titan might bring out more sensibly priced editions akin to the Dan Dare ones but I'm still waiting.

The book palace http://www.bookpalace.com/acatalog/Trigan_Empire.html (http://www.bookpalace.com/acatalog/Trigan_Empire.html) are great for more obscure and hard to find graphic novels.  Haven't used them for a long time but always found them reliable.  They have the complete Trigan Empire reprints listed, including the full set with two volumes free!
