I just stumbled across this, while playing with the Control Panel. I see that there is a registered user group. Is the plan for there to be a lot of groups on this site? Seems potentially divisive, especially if access to a group is on subjective grounds . Or is the function to split between subscribers and non-subscribers?

The groups thing is just something that comes with the board. I was thinking of creating a group for droids, but I don't see the point of lots of groups.

Yes, but that's the only thing that might come into effect. Having a subscribers only section is something on the cards where only subscribers can see certain forums categories. But we'll have to see

Umpty I'll probably be removed from the group for letting a 'non-grouper' know...but the group has already started. I've said too much already...forget everything!

I should hope not. I have been toying with the idea of subscribing and TBH a motherhumping Elitest Privet Members stuff would accually put me off
