Hello all. Haven't visited the forums for a while (mostly used to lurk anyway) but I'm back back bearing a gift.
As per the topic title I've got a spare EU open beta key for Warhammer Online:Age of Reckoning if anyone wants it.
Only got one so first reply gets it. You can download the beta client from //http://www.war-europe.com (and probably other file download sites) but won't be able to setup an account/register the key until GOA figure out how to restart their authentification servers which they were supposed to be doing this morning.

Downloadiing the ten day free trial for "Warhammer : Call to Arms" right now or rather it's beeen downloaded and it's patching right now.
But it's been dowing this for nearly a hour and a half now and it's only seven percent done.
I hope it doesn't require the actual game for this free trial.
Is anybody else playing this?

Call to Arms is the name of the big event that's currently running in-game - so your ten-day trial will involve you downloading the full game software before you can start.
Anyone else playing this at all? I'm quite enjoying pouring my time into it, and it's grabbed me more than WoW and its ilk had previously.

The first patch had sloowed to stand still after it was sixty two percent of the way through.
I though it wanted me to free up more space.
So I got to work.
Freeing up sixteen 16 GP.
It still wouldn't budge.
So after prompting, it told me that there was a error in the patch.
So I restarted the patching process.
At first leaving all the temporary memory intact. Hoping it wouldn't be so slow this time around.
But no.
I ened up retarting the computer and I think it got about one percent otrhough the patch last night and this morning.
When something mysteriously stoppped the download.
So I restarted just now.
It's been going for hour and a half and is still zero percent of the way through it.
I dare say it's going to take about ten days to patch. I hope not.
I'm hoping Mythic will give me a extension on the free trial.
You see, I thinks that it's just used up all of allocation for thsi month.
I still would need to wait another twenty days for it to be replenished.
