Title: Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage DLC
Post by: mogzilla on 27 January, 2009, 06:35:17 PM
Got it and at first confuzzed...i sat in my megaton house and looked at my pip boy,nowt... went into every menu ,nowt,  rebooted ,nowt ...only when i went somewhere a few minutes later i had a distress call from the outcasts so i followed it down a subway to a battle wite super muties and outcast ...perhaps this be it i thought.THEN i was shown to a scientist by a snotty trooper who plugged me into the vr unit as the thing is a simulation training program to unlock some goodies (i hope ) for the main game.

early feelings are good you start basic with a silenced 10mm pistol and a knife and i soon picked up a chinese assault rifle a sniper and a ""guass" gun?  some sort of energy rail gun i think. your "sarge also accompanies you for some of it.
you cant loot bodies cos they vanish and there are n stim packs as you dont carry your inventory over. but there are ammo and health refill bins at regular intervals so unless you really suck you should be ok .

   any way backto fighting
the invisible chinese ninjas!!! mgs influence?
"hurt me snake!"

damn sight more satisfying than the fable 2 dlc...

I haven't logged on to Xbox live yet, even though I've had the console four months - sounds like a good reason to.

The big DLC release is Broken Steel which continues the main story and permits level 30.

also looking forward to the "pitt" add on an industrial raider settlement by all accounts so plenty o' killing to be done there!

i will have to renew my live account first though it runs out pretty soon!

got hit in the camera by my first flying eyeball last night it actually bounced off!!! kudos to the pixelmonkey in charge of explody heads!

My second runthrough as a very bad man is now well and truly screwed as I started massacring the Brotherhood and got trapped in an infinite death loop due to autosave.

Am I right in thinking that none of this is available for the Ps3?

It's a Microsoft exclusive, but most likely it'll be a timed one so the PS3 should get it eventually.
