This is my first thread so sorry if this isnt the right place to put it.
Does anyone know when the back issues section of the shop is going to be back online? its been months now and it still says section currently unavailable. i dont want to give my credit card details over the phone and i dont know where else to get past thrills. Last months issue of the Meg just didnt make it to Ireland (seriously not a single shop in Ireland had it all month)
I didnt get it either and I have just bought 281 in the newsagents. follow this

whoohoo thanks, your a life saver

i gotta get a subscription one of these days.

Back progs? they should be available in a digital format, the entire thing from prog one!
i would pay through the nose for a digital collection, and paper does not last forever.
It lasts a hell of a lot longer than most digital media formats.

Amen to that - I'm not finished replacing all my old VHS with DVD and already the 'replacement' is out. I've got to buy a Hi-Def TV? My Broadband is slow because it's only 8Mb? Talk about Future shock and the accelerated pace of change - give me good old paper any day!
Even though it would be expensive (i do have an accomodating nose) a digital collection would be available to everyone not just those with hundreds of pounds to spend on back progs- if you can find the ones you want, i mean how many copies of prog 1 or 2 are floating about for sale? I do agree that nothing feels like paper and the nostalgic whiff of an old prog sets me off proper. It would be easier to store too, although i concede that im no expert on digital format lifespans.

The funny thing is, bar the 'banned progs' and maybe Progs 1–5, I'll bet most people could pick up a 'complete' set of 2000 ADs on eBay for a few hundred, and you can bet digital equivalents wouldn't be any cheaper.
Hmmmm... fair enough.
