Title: Real Time Blood Bowl

I remember paying the table top version of this game with past aquaintences years ago before they all got married and had children.

Atleast two or thre of them had purchased the games and it was this way that we had a even larger playing feild set up.

Then again, maybe it was SPACE HULK, where we did this, but I certainly do still remeber playing table-top BloodBowl.

It was Orcs vs Humans concerning the minatures that were supplied with the game.

Lets just say that the person who brought the game was not willing to fork out the extra money for buying the minatures expansion packs.

We would still use the rules for for other teams/factions such as 'Chaos All Stars', 'Skavens' 'Dwarven Giants',,,who were known to cheat with the help of a extra football hiddne form the other team. I recall team that used 'Skeletions'. One of my favorites because they could re-animate and out live their mortal oppopents.

Cynanide Studio who made also made the very much similer but unlicenced 'Chaos Leage' years ago are now doing the official BLOOD BOWL game for various platforms. Though, it doesn't look like Playstation Two or Three will be included. What a shame.

Which looks good to the person like me. Who can't be bothered to find the time to get real people to play this game anymore. Besides, I never got around to buying original table-tiop version my self anyway.

Not that I'm totally devoid of imagination, it's good to see those familar characters running around in 3D rendered real time
doing what I imagined when the table top version in much the same fashion with the Warhammer trademark appaerance. tudor styled buildings surrounding a rustic looking football field and in a lot of other ways like 'Dawn of War'' or the other fancy Warhammer computer game.

Though I wonder how the conversion to to REAl TIME will efffect the stratedgy side of the game.

No time to plan, just to act and react.

Been keeping an eye on this for a while.  Looking good so far.
They've included a turn based mode as well which could be it's saving grace if realtime doesn't work too well.

i thought the game was gonna be turn based, if not it will just be a new SPEEDBALL that was an awsome game.

i also played the board version, although we used 40k characters, ( i couldnt afford to buy a team on £1 a week pocket money, especially after buying 200AD)

I played Chaos League, and it was a pretty fine game. I don't know if they'll implement the same turn-based system as was present there, but it was fun; basically, rather than being a normal chess-esque turn-based jobby, you'd have x seconds to plan all the moves you could, after which the game reverted to real-time for y seconds to play out your moves, and then back to the turn whatsit.

It was rather fun, and I'm certainly looking forward to this one.

After watching the trailer, It's funny and abit weird seeing all the imagined action happening for real. The perspective of the people making thsi game and perhaps the creators of the original version.Though I have to admit some oit doesn't look quite right.
