Post by: GordonR on 06 March, 2009, 10:41:52 AM
On PC, until March 12.

You can download it from Gamestop.   //http://www.gametap.com/play/gameDetails/000467250

*Note.  It doesn't work on Windows Vista, apparently.

Downloaded this yesteday and played it to where you have to take out those robtotic sentry guns with the red lights on top.

The PC controls do take abit of getting used to when I had played this game before on the Playstation two.

I also download edthe 'Second Sight' game. Which is It's evrytbit as good as the Paystation two version I had borrowed asa renta back in 2005 where I had got as far as the mental asylum in Vermont before I had to returnthe game and since never got back to it.

I have been meaning to buy that game.

It's really cool.  You get some cool PK powers like Telekenesis which allows you to pick  up, move through mid air  and throw small objects like televsion monitors  which crakle with electricty and explode. You can also do thsi with the unconsious or dead bodies of guards your power gets stronger.

The worse thing about thsi game is that the protagonaist is not very good a running and wil move at a retarted jogging pace.

While the game enviroment would show alot of signs of interactiveness.

It would not be absolutly interactive.

You would have to play the gasme here to see what I mean.

For game that was made several years ago, it was pretty good. Though I think they have improved on this since then.

Playing it on the poC at normal difficulty seems strangely harder than before.  You see, I have to get the protagonist to escape from the sceintific facility that esperimented on him. Resulting in his PSI powers that are procedurally made available to him as he make his way out of the building.

Right now, It's harder than before as he has just made his way to the basement via the elevator.

I got through that part before on the Playstation Two version and it just seems that I now lack the intuition I had acouple of years ago.

The Steam version works just fine on Vista, FWIW, so that's a restriction specific to GameTap.

I got the game out after months of not playing it (PS2 version), and I STILL can't get past that train level. GRRR! There were other difficult obstacles but I could usually get through them. This level just seems impossible. It's times like this I'm tempted to find a cheat, and I'm not usually into cheats if I can help it. And I don't think any of the cheats work anyway as the main problem is preventing the train burning.

Is that the part with the stammels running along side the train and the gliders attacking from above? (Seriously...who thinks having hang-gliders for elite troops is a good idea?).

That damn train level.

Thats where I got stuck also in the original Playstation Version.

I haven't bothered going back to that merely because I have to go through process of tuning the television and untangling plug before I can even use the damn thing.

Regarding that level, The last leg of the trian jounrey whe you exit the tunnel and you have to keep targeting the hang-gliders and I think the other Sky-hoppers keep oblitrating my ride.

I like to be to be able use Gunnar in Sentry gun mode on that train. I thimk it would make thing easier.

I next time I should pay more attention to looking after the train, making sure it doesn't take any unessasary damage earlier on.

The only part of the game I remember having trouble with was one armoured mech in a city and the end boss.

All-in-all it's a fun game, the music is spot on and it works well.
