Just got this, shall be cracking it open once the telly's free. Movie licenses make me wary but this looked like a lot of fun and I loved the movie so fingers crossed and all that!

I played a little bit of the PC version and was a wee bit disappointed to be honest. Partly because it was obviously a console conversion, so the controls are clumsy as hell, and partly because it's not as cool as the trailer made it look. I'm at the end of the first level, and so far there's nothing about bullet time or bending bullets. I don't know if they're abilities you have to earn or what, but that was pretty much the main gimmick of the game, and without it, it's just a fairly standard shooter.

Aye you unlock the bendy bullets and slo-mo stuff as it goes on. It is a lot of fun, but only 4 hours long so it was over in two sittings for me. Enjoyed it enough to play it through again on hard, and think 4/10 was a little harsh, but I'd probably only give it a 6 or 7 myself. There's a couple of really awful sniper sections and mounted gun levels which are just rotten, but the cover mechanic and abilities makes the core of the game great fun.

I enjoyed this, but it was all over a little quick and its kinda repetitive.
That said, it has seriously cool factor and you cant help but grin every time you pull off a slomo bullet curve
Would definately class as a fun rental rather than a purchase.. unless you can pick it up cheap of course

I rented it and enjoyed it ! went through it a few times to get as many trophies as possible....though it is short at least it doesn't outstay its welcome !
