Title: Subscription Options
Post by: afoia on 26 April, 2009, 12:34:52 PM
Hi everyone, i picked up 200AD for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it so much that i'm willing to put down some cash for a subscription. I gather that there is no online order form, so i'll have to phone up in the week, one question though what subscription options are available? I'd prefer to pay a monthly subscription and not pay out a lump sum for the year, is there an option to do this?

Thanks again guys.

Hi,
I subscribe and pay monthly - I think it works out as about £7 per month, a few quid more if you want the Judge Dredd Megazine as well. Try this number (I take it you are in UK?): 01621 877250.

Always good to see a new reader, if you have any questions or need any recommendations for graphic novels etc don't hesitate to ask.

Another thing with subs is that you can (depending on stock levels) generally choose which issue to start from. Therefore, you could start your sub from a couple of months back, if you want, thereby getting earlier parts to the stories. You'll then get a first 'parcel' with a bunch of back issues, although obviously your one-year sub will then only last until the year's worth of issues runs out.

1617 (//http://www.2000ad.org/?zone=prog&page=profiles&choice=1617) is a good place to start—every episode is the start of a new series.

It isn't - most of those stories started in Prog 2009 - 1617 contains part two of most of those stories.

Thanks, I'm probably more interested in just picking up from where it is at the moment, Less hassle then and i dont mind reading about half way through.

Right. Was checking Barney, but it doesn't take into account 2009.

Ok my order has been put through. Although I had to back date 1 issue just to get the right issues in order (seems WH Smiths is a week behind!) didn't go for judge dredd mag though, but I can always check it out later.

Thanks for the help guys!
