According to this (//http://www.edge-online.com/features/interview-kareem-ettouney) interview LittleBigPlanet will be getting a downloadable 2000AD sticker pack
I have no idea what this actually means but is good for 2000ad getting more exposure

What it means is that people who have Little Big Planet can now create their own levels using 2000 ad themed items. I've got to persuade my mate to download it. It'll be ace!

Unfortunately not. I love LBP, but it's not a system seller. You'll play a lot of great levels online, but the core gameplay is ultimately not strong enough. It really is like Youtube, you'll have a lot of fun but it's not all that substantial.
If you bought it together with MGS 4, Uncharted and Valkyria Chronicles then it would deffo be a good excuse...

My son just got back into this having been sent a sackboy by Sony.
Perfect timing. We did some level creation and i started a Dredd level but struggled to make it look right. This looks perfect.

Indeed, enough decent games now to make it worth it. I wouldn't want it as my only system but it competes the set nicely.

I enjoyed that for the first couple of weeks until it just became a frag fest. Ruined it for me sadly (i'm not a big online gamer though). it is a well put together game.

Costumes are cool.. JD costume seems to be green all over though?
Could do with some level bulding stuff next, stickers etc, so i can get started on that level.

i would love to play the 2000ad pack but am the owner of the sick child that is XBOX 360, sadly wonderful online but fragile.

LBP's a Sony-published game. Absolutely 0% chance it'll ever be on the XBox. (Or, to put it another way, as much chance of that happening as there is of Halo appearing on the PS3.)

I haven't gotten it yet. It's taunting me. But if there was an exposure I think Judge Dredd should get his own game. Batman does so why not him? Don't hurt me if this has been brought up.

For the range of games (more that I prefer), vastly better online functions and price I'd personally say that 360 was the way to go if you had to chose anyway. LBP isn't a system seller, as it's a fairly limited game (but wonderfully creative). Having said that the PS3 has a good library itself now so is well worth owning alonside one (as I do). Best of both worlds.

That is true if they want toplay under their profile. We just share one and have got very used to the better integration with the dash and ease of jumping between games with friends etc.
I don't think it'd be such an issue if i hadn't got used to it.
I think taste in games would come into it too. They both have lots to offer. For me it'd never be an either/or - it's both.

Finally got around to starting LittleBigPlanet yesterday,i have only had it since before christmas ! really enjoying it ! can't believe some of the levels people have made....one called the Bunker is brilliant ! as good as some of the proper levels in the game ....and i am playing it has Rogue Trooper...
