Waaaayyyt a minute - where'd my avatar go? It's disappeared and not on the list of profile icons - and there's no option to upload...

"Gimme back my face!"  :o ...ulp....

Phew, thank God we're back! I've just been checking out alt.comics.2000ad while things were off and that place is grim!    It's basically John Smith and Sc**** hurling insults at one another while approximately 3 other people half-heartedly review the prog to general indifference. Brrrr.

Don't ever go away like that again - PROMISE!

Yeah not a nice place to be... Not really sure of the point of that one nowadays... Unless you happen to be he who shall not be named.

Yeah- I'm seeing red X's for some and others- like Fester's- are just not there at all...

I was trying to be clever and pressed reset so I've managed to delete my own, (smooth). But it was a red x before that. Think the same thing's happened on the art comp thread. Maybe just uploaded images, not linked ones?

Mine's gone too  :(
I feel sort of naked without it and it's not even Sunday!

Yup...still there. Not that anyone call tell what it is like!

Really? I can't see yours, Bouwel...
Hmmm... now I'm confuzzed.

I thought a [?] in a box signified a broken link.
My avatar was an upload - I did the same as uncle fester and deleted mine whilst fiddling... I wonder if the avatars will come back or whether they are gone for good.
Also, Barney's brain is empty of all the databank info. Probably just impatience and everything will be back to normal soon enough!

I visit that forum sporadically and just find it a bore.I think John Smith and S**** enjoy themselves on there but the insults are a bit lame generally speaking.

Please, sir, may we have our icons back? And attachments? It's kind of buggering up the Art Comp.

Cheers!

I'm on a PC with Firefox and I can see all the art comp entries and everyone's avatar except Fester and Kevlev's.

.....but if we're fixing things, I'd really like to see the "view active topics" link put back on each thread (doesn't have to be on each post, just always have it next to 'board index')

Nah. Firefox and Safari on the Mac aren't showing any board-hosted attachments. Right-clicking the images and choosing "Open Image In New Window" brings up a message saying that the attachment no longer exists.

Cheers
