anyone seen the trailer to the latest dlc from the game i am hopelessly addicted to? (level 29 and climbing)
the new dlc sees you transported to a swampland/sea side town that hasnt been nuked into submission but has been affected by the radiation.
we can expect a "hills have eyes" feel to the enemies looking very inbred and scary. apparently bethseda have stated this dlc is for the higher level end player and chucks many enenmies at you so not for the player who has only just started!
new outfits so far only appear to be a civil war hat and presumably hillbilly clothes new weapons incude hatchets and a double barrelled shotty!
they promise a more open ended feel with loads of side quests in a "massive "area
only red dead redemption will stop me playing for any length of time but that aint due till november!

Actually I must start playing Fallout 3 again soon, I sort of overdid it and it was taking over my life! And only 4 trophies left to get.

All the downloadable 360 'exclusive' content will be incorporated with the Game of the Year edition for PS3 - though some of the DLC is already available if you want to have it piecemeal. Personally, I've gone cold turkey to wait for the re-release - though I hear you can use existing saves with the newer copies of the game if you fancy just wandering about the game in the meantime, leveling-up so you'll have boss stats.

well,finished (i think) and though its a huge area with some tough enemies it was all a bit of a chore and the mist enshrouded island was to me hiding draw issues.
the items to collect are shite.
double barrelled shotgun -one shot tho powerfulish
lever action rifle- weaker 10mm version of lincoln's .44 rifle
axe/shovel-shit
microwave emmiter is ok
confederate hat looks ok with some of the merc armour but ...
workmens overalls-why?
i was looking forward to some tribal power armour or some decent weaponary.
hope mothership zeta is better.....more alien guns/armour please?

There's a collectors edition of this coming out in October for the PS3, 360 and PC. It has all five expansions in it.
