Judge Dredd is renowned for his cruel mistreatment of some brilliant villains. For years, week in and week out, Dredd has dispatched perps, some classic and some forgettable. Since its very beginning fantastically designed creations would appear only to find themselves on the wrong end of a heat seeker. It is one of the things which has marked the strip out from other long running comic book stories where the villains would die and reappear following a fantastical resurrection.
HOWEVER having said all that as a bit of fun how would you bring back some of Dredd's deadliest and deadest opponents??
Just to get the ball rolling I would bring back Captain Skank thusly. The first time we meet Captain Skank it is revealed that he is only an android used by an East Meg agent to cover his true intentions. I'm suggesting that there is an actual Captain Skank, that the android is based on, and he has continued his reign of terror as the Pirate King of the Black Atlantic for many years.
Wouldn't that be a bit like the irritating way you grow attached to Mad-Eye Moody in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,[spoiler:7hh0vk7n]only to find out he was actually David Tennant in disguise the whole time, but then you're still supposed to care about the real Moody (who you hardly know at all)[/spoiler:7hh0vk7n]in the subsequent episodes?
But great idea for a thread!
Grud I really am hungover.
How about some Russian Judges? We need a new conflict with East-Meg One, or what's left of it.
The Diktatorat from the apocalypse war.
They were stunned and secretly placed in cryo stasis to be revived and plot a new offensive towards MC-1.

Howler II -- Missus Howler comes a-seeking that no-good layabout husband of hers...
...with the kids in tow
Judge Death and Mean Angel. Oh, wait... :-[
I always wanted to see more of Bizmo Klux from Night of the Radbeast(?). Great name, great design by Ezquerra, so little chance to shine.
This thread makes me wonder when we're going to get an update to the Son of Fink story. I desperately want to know his origin - is he even really Fink's son? Who in God's name was the (unlucky) mother? Break him out of the cubes and team him up with Son of Ratty* in the Undercity for some good ol' fashioned pizzenings aplenty.
*Unless Ratty Jr is dead, of course, which he might be for all I know.
I still maintain that Ratfink is the son of Fink Angel and Ratty.
Yep.
Ha! I rather like that idea.

Plainly a failed attempt by McGruder to replace understrength Cursed Earth Marshals with an army of clones of famous radland survivors.
Mechanismo - the first design.

And with Dreddy out of the loop too. Nice.
The Kleggs shall rool,er rule. :)
I always liked Murd the Oppressor. He's the only villain who actually managed to kill Dredd!
PJ is the ultimate Dredd villain. Maybe, not Holden!
Why am I mentioning him here? Because Dredd THOUGHT he'd killed him.
No, doesn't work does it?
Gestapo Bob and the Cosmic Punks.
Thinking about it, Father Earth too.
If anyone could survive being eaten by a plant, it's him!
I'd bring back Slough Feg but it would be in the future and in the future and he would be a cyborg and shit. He would be even more superior to Guthrie as he would be able to transform into a bike, a jet *and* a death satellite like in Akira.
Call-Me-Kenneth and Elvis the psycho car should come back and go on a murderous rampage together.
(Well, actually no, they really shouldn't, I just thought it was amusing to imagine how bad that would be.)
An other vote for Call-Me-Kenneth, but only if its the headless Ezquerra version!

Technically the Mutant did too. Not that I want him back, mind, we're done with Owen Krysler.

Well, if you're going to get
technical, Tord, by bringing alternative futures and whatnot into the mix, then according to Helter Skelter so did Cal, Don Uggie, Captain Skank, Rico, Kazan...

Well, if you brought the Dark Judges back ALIVE then they wouldn't be killing people with a touch and burning people up and all that good stuff. But I think I know what you mean.
