Imagine a foppish dandy is speaking to you - would he address you as 'Dear Hart' or 'Dear Heart'?
The more I think about it the less I can even guess!
Anyone set me straight?
PS - there is a reason I'm asking!
'Dear Heart' but given how my spelling and grammar are (particularly as seen on here) I'd be the last person to take advice off!
Dear Hart would be a tenuous homophonic pun, but he would actually say Heart.
Depends on whether or not your name is Hart I guess...unless the fop is calling you dear deer...
