So how do I make mine bigger?
I don't get it, Tips.
Just re-upload a bigger version, assuming you've still got the original image somewhere. If not.. well, the internet isn't short of good dinosaur pictures.
Click on 'Profile' near the top of the page and it's under 'forum profile information.'
Have you tried 'Deep Heat' and a wire brush?
If you mean your avatar though tips...as Jimbo said, if you've still got the original image, try reimporting it to your profile page and see if it resizes it to the new jumbo size. If that doesn't work just carry on with the 'Deep Heat' and brush.
Wake or Vince should know. Maybe put a post in the "Forum Bugs and Issues" (http://2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,25664.0.html) thread as it appears this gets checked fairly regularly by the commandants.
It may be small, but it's perfectly formed and does it's job just as well as the bigger variety. Well that's what I'm telling myself...
Too right. The big icon boys are overcompensating for something.
And hey Tips, you weren't kidding about the knob gag!
Where I come from, a small icon is a badge of virility.
Sorry, did anyone just hear some teeny tiny voices after Kerrin? NO? must have imagined it.
I've never been able to make out what your icon actually is - a Tiplodocus presumably!
It's Stickleback, isn't it?

Oh, and yes; I do have a big Grobbendonk...

Count yourself lucky - this is the second time mine has disappeared completely, nothing to do with this cold snap, oh no. Anyway its not how big it is its what you do with it that matters and I am unsure size really matters in this case, does it?
Or the answer you are looking for is jelqing.
Take your pick.

I thought you did that deliberately to cultivate an air of mystery! ;)

That's what I use the smoke bombs for. And the potato in the underpants.
Thanks for the advice fellas.
As you can see, mine is now huge and so I am happy and satisfied and so is Mrs. Tips.
Hocus Pocus, it's a Tiplodocus!
Aha - now I get it - I couldn't make out the picture from the background lines when it was small, so I thought it was some strange runelike symbol.
Now if I could only work out what the hell Tordelback's is supposed to be!
I've given up trying to work out what most of the avatars are meant to represent. Except the obvious ones, naturally. Does anyone have a good story about theirs?
....
....
....
Ok. How about a story? Anyone? *tumbleweed moment*

It's Stickleback!
And if you really,
really want I can tell you how I came by the nick of Bouwel, and how it relates to my avatar..or not as the case may be.
-Bouwel-
When every avatar was tiny, the animated ones (like Bou's kicky boots) really impressed me and that's what I aspired to. My current one is my default doodle, but with moving eyes, and I love it! I'm so pleased with myself (as a techno-ignoramus) to be able to create any animation, that I think I'll stick with it for a while.
I picked mine from the characters available on the site, same way I got my old Sancho Panzer one before the site went all doolally - which happened while I was off the board for a couple of weeks and confused me something rotten when I came back on - for the simple reason that I have absolutely no idea how to bring images from outside the site.
As to why I chose them, Sancho was to show love to a character I felt had been unfairly crapped on over the years and my current one was because Sancho wasn't available so my nephew picked one at random.
Hows that for meaningful subtext. Truth is I'd go without but the posts just look a bit barren.
