Please help me avoid hours in the garage, spending time I wish I had, wading through 1500+ progs :(
There was surely a prog in which Dredd and a rookie are chasing perps in the 5th dimension (this is some time before the recent dark matter story) and being there temporarily gives Dredd godlike powers over the city.
He stops his bike for a moment, glares down at the city like god's face and growls "Obey the Law, creeps!", adding to the rookie: "Never hurts to let 'em know who's boss" or something like that.
Please can anybody point me to this?
Doesn't ring any bells, but I'd be interested to know why you've got a picture of my mum's cat as your avatar!
Hmmm, can't place the story but it reminds me of the cover of 464. S'not that prog though 'cos the Dredd was Gribligs.
im sure that was an alan grant megazine dredd tale.... can picture the artist - fellow who did some of the doomsday intro art?... let me check barney....

Grud's Big Day
Sure was:

Thanks for that! For me, that counts among the most iconic scenes ever in the history of Judge Dredd - sums him up perfectly.
"OBEY THE LAW, CREEPS!"
PS: As for that cat: http://www.martinhowe.net/adhoc/cats.php#Johnson :)
I'd never seen that page before MartinHowe, but it was fab. And Johnson the cat for his own series! Grud/Tharg must make it so. ;D
At first glance, I thought this kitten was shooting a laser beam from its eye (http://www.martinhowe.net/adhoc/images/johnsonandfelix.png).
I, for one, would like to welcome our new feline overlords.
Cheers!

Grud yes! This. Needs. To. Happen.
Then we can have a glorious team-up with Pikey.
