In relation to THIS link (http://2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,26297.0.html), I remember reading an old annual which not only had that particular strip in but also another story that I liked. The premise went something like this:
Set in ancient China, it concerns a young girl who wants to be a warrior like her three older brothers (they won't let her 'cause she's a girl). One is an archer, another is a swordsman and the third (I think) is either a Kung-Fu expert or a bowsman. All three gets turned to stone by an evil magician or Wizard (I forgotten which) and the girl has to kill the antagonist herself. By the end, she does so and her brothers are restored back to flesh and accept her as a fellow warrior.
Any ideas what the strip or annual was??
Although I don't think it is, it sounds very much like the Ballad/Ode to Mulan.
