Title: Help with Back Issues
Post by: Felix Vane on 05 December, 2009, 06:51:17 PM
Hi everyone.

I'm really eager to get hold of prog #1662 forwards, Until the end of the Slaine: Amber Smuggler story at least.

Could someone help me out on getting back issues please? Is it possible to order just the desired issues from the 2000AD website.

Also, Im situated in the UK, so just in case you find a method for me to get the said issues remember that little tit bit of information.

Thanks everyone, means alot.  :)

If you don't have any luck in comic shops and the like - the 2000Ad subscription hotline deals with back issues too - I'm not sure how far back they hold in stock - but I'm guessing they'd be able to help you out as far back as six months at least.

Most comic shops will be happy to have a look for something like that but, as has been said, you can do worse than phone the subs line as I believe they're meant to hold a few back numbers.

Like "orange soda", it's a reference to an obscure and unfunny comedy programme.

TLoG made me weep tears of laughter, but each to their own.  Although given Felx's fresh vintage, he's probably unaware of it so I suggest, Mr Vane, you watch this and all will be clear:

50 miles is a bit of a Hell-Trek.  Subs line of this very site will probably sort you out, both for a subscription (should you want one) AND those troublesome back issues.  Good luck.

I think the subs people might be a good first port of call but I imagine some of the British comics shops would be able to sort out a parcel of goodies for you (I'm sure such recommendations will be forthcoming if you want to go in that direction).

I just sent a Email to Denise about purchasing the last four progs and the current speical.

I would like to comfirm that....

16.1 British pounds = 28.7254727 Australian dollars.

Because I won't pay more than twenty nine dolars for those.

I hope PAY-PAL is excepted.

That can't be right if Progs cos about a few cents shy of eight dollars australian.

The speical could nbe anbout anything from ten to fifteen dollars australain.

That could break my budget.

Still I would like to have a few more opinions.

I was just reminded why never or hardly ever buy anthing through the online store here.

it'e stll really a very messy buisness giving your vital bank details, waht type card I use, what ype of bank account I have, and where my account is held exaclty.

So I woulld e-mailing Denise the numbers on my card and statement. Though I know not which ones are required exaclty.

This could take afew e-mails before I get it right.

This is just very messy, I and am also looking on Ebay.

Thryllseekyr, unless I'm mistaken you're typing on that wireless keyboard from the far side of the room again.  It'll take a very long time to get your bank details successfully set up working like that!
