How do I get a ringtone folder in my iPhone/iTunes?

Want to make ringtones from songs and i need to place files in a ringtone folder... but i don't have a ringtone folder on my phone or in itunes.

I'm assuming you're happy with the whole trimming-to-40-seconds and renaming-as-.m4r-file part of the process. If you don't have a 'Ringtones' icon in the sidebar of iTunes, you just need to turn it on in the preferences:



I don't have any ringtones on my phone -- it's set to vibrate -- but checking that box makes a Ringtones icon appear beneath both the Library header in the Sidebar in iTunes, and the DEVICES -> iPhone header. I'd assume you can just click on Library -> Ringtones and then drag your .m4r files onto the Ringtones icon under iPhone.
