I have two iPod classics: an older 80meg and a newer, slimmer 120meg. Both have an identical, very large, music collection on them. For some reason, the newer iPod does not display all of the music under 'artist'... I know Gram Parsons is in there, but he is not listed under 'artist' and so I can only find that music if I can also remember the album name and search for it that way.
This is an incredibly anal issue, I realise, but it bothers my OCD and I have trouble sleeping at night. Has anyone else noticed the same thing? Is there anything that can be done?
If it bothers your OCD and stops you sleeping at night then go and get some professional counselling.
Or failing that go and do a google search for an IPOD forum as i am sure you will find advice there.Apple may have their own dedicated forum .
Hope this helps.
Do i have to wipe your nose for you as well ?

Buy 2000AD it cures all known forms of everything ;)
Change the 'sort artist' in Gram Parsons in your iTunes.
Judge Dredd has the same problem all the time, that's why he can't sleep at night.
We're all thinking it.
