Tried (and failed) to find one of the previous mentions, so here goes:
1. Open a (free) account with photobucket (or similar image-hosting site).
2. Upload your pics from your computer to photobucket.
3. Under each pic in your album will be several web-link addresses. Select the DIRECT LINK and copy this.
4. In a new post, click on the INSERT IMAGE button (just above the smileys) and paste the link between the brackets.
5. Always a good idea to preview before posting to check image size etc.
I use my photobucket account solely for posting stuff on this site and flicking through my album is a very weird mixture - as well as my own art comp stuff and doodles, there are odd celebrities, captures from websites, scanned comic pages and photos of snow-cocks!
EDIT - just seen your cruiser pic, so this advice clearly not needed. And you must be suing a site other than photobucket, 'cos I can't see those images when at work but i can see you on the boat - I'm not at all jealous, honest *seethe*
I find photobucket is very simple to use as well. Good instructions there DDD.
P.S. If you can't be arsed to click on the insert image icon just upload the bottom link on photobucket, IMG Code. It's for lazy people, as I did it for my last few uploads and I saved micro seconds of my life doing just that ;)
