Title: GLITTERATI
Post by: ghostpockets on 10 July, 2010, 06:38:50 PM
Heylo. Thought I'd post a bit of my art to show what I'm all about... essentially eye-bleedingly bright colours, a style I have christened Highlighter Chic.

Slightly tentative about posting this, but what the hey... I don't think it will receive anymore of a critical mauling than the one I already gave it myself. This is a vague suggestion of a comic I might one day make, I am going to have to redraw about 40% of it to exorcise the continuity errors as well as other glaring mistakes but probably won't get around to it before the big move. Anyhoo, presented for the approval of the midnight society here is my quasi-comic... THE GLITTERATI.

Cheers my man. I think I came off a bit to negative above, s'just I've had it knocking around for a coupla months now and the seeds of discontent have been sown. When I can get a chance I'm gonna re-jig it so it reads better and is more dynamic where it needs to be. It's for that BSLSK project and I need my arts to stand up in comparison to that uber-talented lot.

In the meantime however I am reserving my drawtime for another short one-page thing. This one has SHARKS! Onvards and upvards....

I find myself incapable of criticising something which depicts a spew-monster yanking someone's head off.

It's as if you've taken events from my life and converted them to neon, sir.
