Hurrah, it's a coming this weekend and it's a guaranteed cracker. Yes, Meg Tharg's postal droid has done the business early and I received 'Durham Red : The Scarlet Cantus' today. It may be a duplicate and not a favourite but that's by the way.
Tom Proudfoot, some crack addicts, sauce with your chips, strippers who take their pants off, over priced tat on Princes Street, sickly sweet rock, smug self satisfied art school twats - your boys took one hell of a beating.
Unless you get one too in which case we can get measuring.
Here'shoping it comes through the post (first Meg subs an' all!!!)
wantitwantitwantit
Wagner Dredd is the business.
Meg 300?
"THIS! IS! THRILL POWARRRRRGH!" ***kicks thrill-sucker down well***
...
I'll get me coat...
I still can't get Meg 299 in Ireland >:(
They don't seem to sell relatively current issues in the 2000AD store anymore either (or am I stupid?)

Meg 300? It's not the proper '300' though (i.e, 1,2,3-299,300). I'm glad they've got away with it for so long. :-[

It is too! At the start of volume five they rebooted the numbering sequence making it issue 200. This wasn't just a nominal starting point there had been 199 issues before at, albeit with random numbering like Vol.3 No76. The tidy numbering was one of the things that drew me back in after the Preacher reprint exodus.
Vol 1 : 20 issues
vol 2 : 83 issues
vol 3 : 79 issues
vol 4 : 18 issues
= 200 issues.
As Monsieur Button says, vol 5 started at 201
Looks like I'll be taking my place next to Buttonman on the letters page-a dubious position if ever there was one! ;)
Zarjaz!
or are these GN for the 'Wot I've liked about the megazine' page?
You Scotsmen and your secret codes. ::)
Wow what is this?
A copy of rogue trooper: Regene?
I wonder what that could mean.....
Bwah-ha-ha-ha!
I like the judgified '3' in 300.
I really love a Cliff Robinson cover.
Looks like they are going for a 'The Expendables' type all star letters pages with a cast of greats and Tom Proudfoot already cast. Monarch is the Benard Breslaw with his 3 Meg Letters, Dweezil pitches in as Robin Asquith with his strong six with Tom the sad forlorn figure of Troy McClure with his weedy six. Modesty precludes me from suggesting a part for myself, with my Earth conquering 35, but I'm aspiring to a Sid James out of 'Carry On at Your Convenience' Ahaw-haw-haw.
