Hi folks. Have just found this site and been totally motivated to add Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, ABC Warriors and Rogue Trooper to my Xmas list of nostalgia presents.
A little question - I am trying to remember the name of a comic section (I'm fairly certain ... although have been known to be completely wrong in the past on many occasions) that the section was within 2000AD. The section was about futuristic surf boarders surfing through a futuristic city ... I am desperately trying to remember the name of it or anything about it ... old age I guess.
Anyone any ideas?

Your thinking of Supersurf - a major part of the Chopper storyline.
First appears as part of Dredd, span off into a gorgeous, heart rending series, then folded back into Dredd.

Sounds like the skysurfers in Judge Dredd, who have turned up in countless stories over the years but began with Supersurf, starring Chopper.

Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files 11 - Contains the story Oz
You might be able to track down an old copy of Song of the Surfer book on eBay, but Rebellion are putting out a trade collecting all of the Chopper solo stories in late 2010/early 2011.
