dunno if its just me but the big tabs above the "this week" progs has vanished ...so i have to click on the little links at the top to open a new window.

I'm not sure what you are referring to - can you provide a link?
on the home page above the picture of dredd and the "subscribe now" there used to be big tabs to go to forum news etc now theres only the little uns right at the top.
They're still there on mine

Oh right, those. They are still there for me. I do have a Flash-blocking plug-in so I need to enable that whole upper panel (including the 2000AD characters with Parkinson's banner above), If you can't see that you are either blocking the Flash plugin, your plugin needs updating or you have added that panel to an ad blocker or something similar that stops it working.
where do i find that??? not big on the tech! :-[

You need to pur some milk into those little slots on top of your monitor in order to recharge your computers dairy matrix. Then simply insert a McVities chocolate digestive into your disk drive and you should be sorted.
If you run into any problems, write the chinese character for "sky" on a paper tag and nail it to your computer's motherboard.

cause you problems and is why you should always get an expert in, on like yourself apparently. May Allah protect us from amateur tinkerers.
Although I do now have the horrible suspicion the Doc is now on her way out to buy a better quality turtle wax. :o
