Title: Greetings citizens.
Post by: crow on 12 October, 2010, 01:11:24 AM
Hey.

Just thought I'd say hi.

Recently read Thrill Power Overload and it got me interested in seeing what old Tharg has been up to since I last regularly read 2000AD back in the early 1990s.

Hi crow, glad you enjoyed that excellent book as the artwork looked stunning inside it. I'll leave the tpb's that you have to read, for everyone else to list for you!
By the way, welcome aboard from down there

you jumped ship at the right time, Much of the 90s was pretty poor. Recent years have seen a return to form though. The weekly prog's in rude health and there's loads of lovely shiny new collections out there to catch up on what you've missed. I'd recommend Shakara and Kingdom for more recent thrills; but if you're looking for a blast of nostalgia both Rogue Trooper and Ro-Busters have had the 'phonebook' treatment recently. As for Dredd, pick up Origins and Tour of Duty to catch up on recent events in MC1 - some of Wagner's finest stories.

Oh, and welcome to the nicest forum in comicdom!
