Philip Bond has posted some commissions on his Flickr stream, including some fine Dredd-related ones:

It'd be great to see him back in the prog if a suitable story arose...
Ooooooh minky...
Yes please Mr Tharg!
What a great find. Have to say that Hershey is quite wonderful thing to open in your web browser and then to my amazement things got better with that Anderson Ape skull page. Brilliant stuff.
Interesting different take on the lawgiver in the Hershey picture too.
Philip says, "...just a couple of commission pieces for someone working at Rebellion - just for his collection, nothing official 2000ad."
Ah well, we live in hope.

Stop it PB you big tease!
Love Philip Bond... totally jealous of these commissions.
The Anderson and 'Death' one is just fabulous.
How does one get in touch with Mr Bond re commissions?
Bond's done Olivia Thirlby (http://www.flickr.com/photos/planetbond/10432622584/) too. F-nar.
This man is completely wasted on US superhero comics.
Always wanted a philip bond 'girlfriend' couldnt find one in real life, they always have that look to them. does anyone else feel that way about his art? seem to remember a pair of pepsi+shirley 80's girls in deadline magazine.. hershey looks fine though..would like to see a book full of his doodles commisions and other stuff, are there any out there?

Ah yes, Wired World, that was fun. There's definitely a niche for drawing women that would make excellent '90s girlfriends, see also Los Bros, Jamie Hewlitt and Evan Dorkin.
Butt'man had a nice long chat with PB at the Last Glasgow Comic con, didn't you? :-[

That's because this jammy bugger got in first.
Does he have an agent? I'd love to get a commission but don't know how to go about it
Did he ever do anything for the prog apart from Time Flies? (I'd like to slag it off, what with it being early 2000ad Garth Ennis, but I to be honest I thought it was ok.) The sequel was gubbins though

The belated sequel seems like one of those strips David Bishop was on about in
Thrillpower Overload, which had been sitting in a plan chest for years and had to be run because of Egmont procurement policy. The fact Bond only drew part of it suggests a lack of commitment and/or enthusiasm from at least one of the parties involved.
To the best of my knowledge,
Time Flies and its associated covers were Bond's only work for
2000ad, Crisis, Revolver, or The Megazine. Bond and Hewlett were already nascent superstars by the time their first efforts for
2000ad saw print, so Tharg doesn't even have the usual Future Shock or off-model Dredd pin-up that most UK comics legends cut their teeth on from REM's biggest fan.
Ah, I see. I remember plenty of Deadline stuff from him of course; between him and the Hewlett lad they really defined the look of that comic (even though Steve Dillon and Brett Ewins were kind of the main men there).
