Yes folks, it's competition time again and this one couldn't be any easier than an easy thing wearing a hat with the words easy on it!
I have in my cellar a spare edition of the Judge Dredd Case Files 11 and thought why not give it away to a lucky board member!
During my weird life I have only ever been to see one live act sing and I took my wife along with me (she's been to loads with her mates).
All you lot have to do is guess which act it was! It may be a group or an individual, I shall not say.
Each forum member get's 3 guesses, so use them wisely. Don't just put all your guesses down straight away. I shall pop back onto the thread as often as I can to see when the winner eventually rises from the obvious strange answers that I'm sure will pop up!
So there we are, nice and easy
What is the only gig I have ever been to?
No clues at all? Not even which decade it was in? ONE gig? That's outrageous!
The group/person is alive but doesn't perform any more. That is all I can say without handing the answer to you on a plate, as you will see when the winner gets it!
Ah ha! Now that's intriguing! I'll have a think.....
The Corrs
Haircut 100
Ray Stevens
not confident
Showaddywaddy?
Showaddywaddy still perform. Coming to an end of a pier near you soon.
David Essex
SBT
Led Zeppelin
The Sex Pistols
Lily Allen
Not confident either...
PS HOW can you possibly have only been to one gig?! Madness! (That's not a fourth guess, btw)
I'm gonna take me first guess with...The Jam.
Chas'n'Dave (possible)
Phil Collins (first choice of non-music lovers)
NWA (okay, it's a longshot, but you may have a secret love of west coast gangsta rap!)
And you need to get out more John!
I really hope it's NWA.
Cliff Richard :D

I nearly went for Kate Bush. (insert your own comments here)
In the ball park, eh?
I'll take a second guess at The Style Council!

The stranglers
Ash
The jam
Oasis
Pink Floyd
Blur
It's a wee bit too hard, so here is a clue.

David Bowie?
Slade.
E.L.O.?
Fleetwood Mac?
We are in the genre now, especially with Bowie & Slade. Best open the floodgates now as the winner will be soon :D
Roxy Music.
Village People
Nope and definately nope!
Gary Glitter
I daren't go there, he has his own case file.
I do not believe it, our resident nutter has got it.
Yes folks it was Gary Glitter and it was before we all know what we know now, obviously.
PM me your address and I'll be round to see your mom ;)
Before any of the crybabies start getting their panties in a bunch about me being "controversial", I distinctly remembered CF saying something about this on the board about 4 years ago.
So all of y'all just got GODPLET-OWNED
Rigged.
I'm worried now as it looks like Roger has files on us all :o

Bah never got a chance!
Did the young Commano Forces get invited back stage after the gig for a small shandy and a chocolate ring?
Or a bumming?
Gary Glitter.
Do I win?
Just to let you know Roger, I shall be sending this off tomorrow.
Wait till you see what I have written on the package, I'm sure you can guess
Um, is it actually written on the package so that people could see it? Cos there are loads of kids in the house and I don't want mum to get struck off.
 I might have to cover that bit up then with a piece of A4 paper in the morning. Let's hope I don't forget ;)

Is that what you kids are calling it these days?
