I'm in Nottingham that weekend for the ice-hockey Playoff finals but I'm free most other weekends.

Okay. I don't want to go out on Saturday 26th because I heard that the revolution's going to be televised that day. The next weekend we're celebrating Deborah's birthday.

How about Saturday 16th April?

I shall mark it in the diary. Who else is up for it ?

Sounds cool (prnding boss approval of course), tho as someone who'd have to get the train in and back, somewhere a bit more central might be easier.

Great Eastern's in Splott, right?

I assume it's the Great Western as that's next to the station. Great Eastern I think is closed down.

I might suggest 23rd April as another date I can make it. April 30th is a possibility too. I wouldn't want to go into May because May 14th and 15th is when the Bristol International Comic and Small Press Expo is happening.

So let's say 23rd April 30th April is favourite, with 16th April as a last resort.

23rd April is a fantastic day for the Welsh get together  :D

Cardiff City vs Queens Park Rangers? Oh bugger. Why does sport have to spoil everything in this city?

;)

Maybe the 30th, then?

Let me know when you decide. I'm pretty flexible and can work around what you decide. Unless the date you decide clashes with something my end.

Or something.

Anyway provisionally count me in.

If you make it Friday 29th, you could all watch the Royal Wedding together. On my birthday.

I can't. I volunteered to work that day because it's a Bank Holiday to mark the Royal occasion. Being a republican I'd rather have off the May Day Bank Holiday instead.

So, provisionally that's:

me, possibly Deborah, James, James Stacey, bluemeanie and MsMeanie so far, for the 30th of April at 1.00pm in the Great Western.

I can't forsee any problems with the 30th of April. City home to Middlesbrough shouldn't cause that much trouble, surely.

I don't really know what difference it makes vs the QPR game. Besides, kick-off is usually 3pm anyway and we're reckoning on getting to the pub at 1.00pm so we won't be short of seats if we haven't already finished and gone by then. Hope to see you there too, worldshown. It'll be nice to make your acquaintance; brings the count to seven.

30th April is in the diary - which means IT IS THE LAW...or, y'know, not...

we'll be there  :D

If it's still an afternoon meet-up then I'm still good for this.

It's my cousin's 50th in the evening and I'll have to be in deepest, darkest Newport by 7.

(reminder: never ask me to forsee anything, ever!)

Two things came from it....

1) I think I conned an awesome artist mate into drawing a Dogbreath script for me

2) Plans were hatched for the group S.Wales pilgramige to Hi-Ex
