though now just thinking about it ... one of our consultants has it in for lou our admin and shes a bit senile losing notes,leaving them on the roof of her car etc, now shes double booked our clinic with hers at the child development centre so lou is breathing a sigh of releif at not seeing her nemesis tomorrow ...or so she thinks... im going to wait then organise a phone call from the other school from "the dr" demanding to know why her clinic isnt set up etc and i'll pass the message on that she wants to see lou NOW!!!!
this may need to rope the admin boss at the centre to lay some groundwork ie ringing and asking if she cancelled her clininc cos shes got one here and shes not turned up yet yadda yadda.
I'm going to walk around quite happy with new overbearing and unnecessary cut that are indeed perpetuating a myth.

We got a text from our head office this morning saying that gold stars had been strategically placed in certain base units (Those green metal cable cabinets you see on various street corners). The one that collected the most would get five extra days holiday and was to contact a team manager before 12:00 with numbers.
I am not sure if anyone fell for it but you would have to be pretty stupid to fall for it.

Not the bunch of cunts I work for. We are working on the royal wedding so I couldn't see them giving someone five days extra.
Could anyone tell me if is illegal that they are making us work that day?. They say it is an optional bank holiday, sounds like a crock of shit to me.
