Title: Valuation Please: 2000AD Collection
Post by: TheDoc on 02 April, 2011, 01:38:55 PM
It must be that time of year again as I am moving house and I really don't have room for all these boxes.

So please can someone help me in pricing up the following.
Assume there are no free gifts with them and the vast majority are Very Good with a few Good (Slight yellowing, obviously been read several times, but otherwise perfectly readable for it's relative age).
The only serious caveat I would say is that Prog 1 is only Fair, due to a couple of tears on the outside cover (inside is just fine).

So, here goes:

2000AD 1 through 1000 Complete (individually bagged, including all banned/rare progs, no gifts)

Best of 2000AD Monthly 1 through 100  Complete

2000AD Annual 1978 through 1989 Complete

Judge Dredd Annual 1981 through 1989 Complete

Best of Judge Dredd 1-13 Complete

Freebie: Several dozen spares of the comics acquired while filling in gaps in the collection!

I'm sure theres some more bits and pieces in there, but that's the meat of the collection.

Any help greatly appreciated  :D

Try searching eBay and seeing what they're going for on there. That'll give you your best indication.

I'll give you a tenner for the first 100 Progs...

You can give me a tenner and pay the shipping and then I'll secure them into my cellar  ;)

Thanks for the replies guys and multiple offers of a quick sale  :D

I was more after a ball park figure for the lot if I sell it all together. It's just so I know a good reserve figure if I put it on ebay or similar.

Obviously splitting it up will be more profitable, but the clock is ticking on my move so I may just sell the whole lot together.

Any help appreciated.
