Title: The Thing???
Post by: dracula1 on 12 July, 2011, 12:39:58 PM
A recent trip to the sea side with the kids uncovered this . . . ? Is it me hallucinating or does it not look like a ticked off Ben Grim as the Thing?

Has anyone else found any comic related characters emerging from fruit, veg or organic material?

Vety lifelike.

C'mon guys - I'm sure we can find sprouts that look like Tharg or carrots that look like Ace Garp - actually, pretty much all carrots look like Ace Garp!

Your right about the carrots resembling 'Garp' Mr. Dare. I'll never be able to eat my Sunday lunch again (with it's hearty portion of carrots included) without going off and reading  Ace Trucking as a dessert. :D

Oh, and the one on the right looks like it could be a Skrull to me, or possibly one of the Fargo clan. Not sure who the one on the left is.

The other morning i woke up to find the shadows on my bedroom ceiling had merged with the dipples and cracks to create a damn good picture of carlos ezquerra's face looming over me. I kid you not, i almost cried out in surprise, and reached for my phone to get a photo- but then thought 'no, no one on the board will be interested in an early morning shadow-and-crack simulacrum of el squirrel, even if you can see his bushy mustache', so i didnt.

I feel a fool now, and cheated of my moment of glory.

As got awake this morning with sore legs as did Great North 10k yesterday, I notice strange "Ape" face on bag on side of my bedroom!

That belongs in the new Planet of the Apes movie!  . . . . Did'nt Freud diagnose this type of  thing as a condition. I believe we've all lost it (thrill power overload waiting for more DREDD movie news is what it is).
