Woohoo as got new Empire mag in the post tonight, but not talk about scanned those images,
it about the cover of latest Empire which out this Thursday, as it featured Dark Knight Rises and the Amazing Spider-man, but that Judge Dredd is top one of that magazine! So is it would be the film of 2012?? (to be honest, be the cover of Empire, wow!)
Well it isn't a sequel, unlike those two perps behind Dredd. That alone makes the film worthy of a prominent place on the cover. :D
This looks quality!!!!!
Like the way it says 'Man of Steel' below him, even though we know he's made of Iron ;)
P.S. Before anyone says, I know that's that tight wearing twats tag line!
Background looks better on Dredd on Empireonline.com homepage!

Thanks for Empire cover art post (in all it's long awaited glory). Dredd makes Batman look a bit of a wimp on this cover. :P

As it should be, surely? :)
Urban's Dredd would kick method acting Bale's Batman all over the Big Meg!
Dredd would have just hi-exed a lighting-camerman for getting 'in his shot' then giving lip, instead of method-ranting.
More photos here...

and this time I like what I see :)
You know what? Despite voicing my concerns in another thread, that Empire cover above (ie, the one we non-subscribers will get) is so close to being exactly right that I am speechless. The head and shoulders are so Dredd it hurts. He looks like the "wiry old man" I think he should be. The surly scowl is perfect- and I sincerely hope he spends the entire movie pulling that face, with only one side of his lip going up when he snarls dialogue.
If it had two lightning flashes across his eyes, I'd be spunking like a man possessed.
SBT
Jovus, does this need ANOTHER new thread?
These pics have made my day, very pleased with what I see! And we finally got our Anderson photo!
Feckin' heck! Now this is what we've been waiting for!

 Bale is totally in the zone when acting, . . . that rant was scary, I bet the lighting bloke shit him self!
Respect to jbezzina for the best second post ever, by the way. Quelling a tidal wave of anticipation in one fell swoop.

Allow me to pound out a full spectrum of mixed metaphors into the melting pot of the English language.
Frantic trolley pushing to the magazine section at Tesco's today has resulted in my long awaited Empire Dredd heroes special. Bloody good effort by this magazine and well worth the cover price to see our first glimpse of the movie in all its glory. Tally Hooo! September 2012.
got my copy now :D - (cant remember the last time i actually bought empire before today, as oppose to reading it in wh smiths)

Snap! that's what I normally do Judge Jack. If they keep running quality Dredd features like that up until movie release I'll subscribe for def'.
I'm seriously considering buying a second copy just to have all the Dredd pages on my walls. The double-page spread on pages 86-7 looks arsom on my kitchen door but I want the door-kicking image and the group shot up there too.

Nice idea, . . . hopefully Rebellion might put an official poster in the Meg to boost interest.

Yep! its a big irritation, like a plastic strait jacket sealing in all the quality journalism . . . stops the likes of me (whose tight as a nats arse with money £££) having a sneek peek.

The cool think about W H Smiths is that there are office supplies (including scissors) a short walk away.
Just kidding...
